Abstract

This article resulted from a research wich the objective was to know the academic production about the training of teachers for Professional and Technological Education (EPT) in the national meetings of the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education (Anped). A state of knowledge was performed based on the materials published in the annals of these meetings from 2010 to 2021, specifically in Working Groups (WG) 8 and 9. At first, the titles and abstracts of the articles presented in these were considered in these WG, and, having as inclusion criterion the central theme teacher training in the EPT, 9 articles were selected for the study. The reading and analysis of the texts revealed a diversity of research focused on teacher training and practice in EPT, namely: teaching in higher technology courses, in Integrated High School and in Youth and Adult Education integrated with EPT, continuing education of bachelor professors, degrees at Federal Institutes, among others. It was noticed that, despite the advances in research on teacher training for EPT, the low number of materials presented at Anped meetings, when compared to the total of materials presented in the two WG, indicates that there is a neglet of this topic, despite the relevance of these meetings and the participation of renowned researchers in the area.
