From theoretical-methodological bases guided by debates in the archival field, Intellectual History and the History of the Present Time, the article seeks to discuss the formation of the set of historical sources that allowed the reconstruction of aspects of the intellectual trajectory of the Santa Catarina historian Carlos Humberto Pederneiras Corrêa. Finally, understood as an archive in "crumbs", the junction of different documents, also allocated in different spaces, provided an opportunity to discuss what would be a "possible memory" about the trajectory of this historian.
