ANDRADE, FLAVIA HATSUMI IZUMIDA  y  YOKOTA, ROSA. Supervised curricular internships of the IFSP Double Degrees in Letters: potentialities and challenges. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2022, vol.22, n.75, pp.1794-1820.  Epub 26-Dic-2022. ISSN 1981-416X.  https://doi.org/10.7213/1981-416x.22.075.ao05.

The supervised curricular internships (in portuguese Estágio Curricular Supervisionado - ECS) of the Double Degrees in Letters of the Federal Institutes of São Paulo have some peculiarities comparing to other Higher Education Institutions, so it is important to carry out studies that aim to understand how and under what perspectives this curricular component has been developed in these institutions. Thus, the objective is to analyze how the ECS are configured and under which internship conceptions. For this, qualitative research was carried out with a focus on document analysis (Pedagogical Course Projects and their Internship Manuals). The analysis of these documents was based on the assumptions of Content Analysis. It was found that there is no link with a curricular discipline for its execution and there is the possibility of having different advisors. Regarding internship conceptions, there are indications that the ECS are conceived as praxis and/or research by some explanations in the documents, but when analyzing the attributions of supervisors and internship’s definition it is evident that the ECS is seen as the moment of practice, both as a reproducer of models and as technical instrumentation. Thus, we point out some challenges to be overcome, such as the students' lack of autonomy in organizing their internship documentation and the fact that there are few moments that address the reflection and theorization of the practice within the documents.

Palabras clave : Supervised internship; Internship concepts; Documentary research; Teacher’s Education.
