The text aims to discuss about a philosophical experience with children of Early Childhood Education in a public school in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul. The goal of the study is to problematize our relations with the world, especially with non-human animals. Potentiating the triad of childhood, philosophy and school, the article examines the multiple possibilities of encountering our relations with the world and how we see nature and non-human animals. The experience with children created other forms of relationship with nature and with the non-human, in addition to those recurrently anthropocentric based on modernity. Putting in abeyance the hegemonic ways of relating to nature was one of the proposals of this philosophical movement with children. The exercise of philosophy with children can lead us to open the experience of thought, not the one that insists on answers to questions, but in the one that mobilizes us on the invention of problems and questions. The philosophical exercise with this group of children enhances us to create questions and trigger the thought for the elaboration of ourselves, in the articulation with the world, with nature and with non-human animals.
