The article problematizes the growing predominance of knowledge production in the educational field, especially when reflecting on the continuous process of commodification of knowledge, which affects graduate programs in academic productivism. The article is developed through two premises, which complement each other to deepen the approach. The first of these concerns the search for themes that can attract the attention of readers - which does not always reflect the importance of writing as a result of doing science and, because they are momen-tâneos commonplaces, without a real contribution to scientific advancement in the area. The second premise intends, positively, the real need for a critical evaluation to observe the relevance and impact of the research developed, which re-consult in articles resulting from them, in order to promote a comprehensive approach of the most selective themes for the development of scientific knowledge in a way that comes from the social practices of the authors. Given the second premise, it can be considered that this can contribute significantly to the publishing of scientific journals, providing the opportunity to face then considering what makes sense in the context of specific scientific and social communities, but enriching the academic dialogue with concrete experiences.
