This article is an excerpt from a research developed at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), with beginning professors at the Health Sciences Center. The study focused on understanding the theme of learning from beginning teachers in the area of health in emerging contexts. It was configured as a qualitative research, with a sociocultural narrative approach, and the production of data took place through narrative interviews based on guiding topics. In the findings, it was evident the need to implement welcoming actions for beginning teachers, in this phase of many doubts and uncertainties. And as a result of the research, a prototype of a page was built to welcome teachers.
