This article seeks to describe the process of developing the “Socio-environmental Look Project” an extension action of the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), involving students of Tourism Bachelor and Biological Sciences Degree as ewll show its importance worked for the communities. The project consists of photographic workshops aimed at stimulating creativity and also develop a new awareness of environmental conservation of the youth involved using photography as a tool for education. The statistical survey conducted in the communities was done by means of two questionnaires, which allowed information used to profile the participants of this action extension thus created an analysis with graphics to illustrate the relevance of these study and its depth. The project was also important to conduct a statical survey on the profile of students from these communities, in the specific case of the subject matter of this work, the Parnaibas’s Delta communities. The project has relevant information about your habits, values and needs.
