This paper aims to discuss the relationship between the public and the private sectors in Basic Education. In this way, it is focused on the 'Jovem de Futuro’ Project, presented by the Unibanco Institute, pre-qualified in the Guide of Educational Technologies of the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) and developed through a partnership between the Institute and the Brazilian Ministry of Education, together with the governments of some Brazilian states (Ceará, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará and Piauí), within the 'Ensino Médio Inovador/Jovem do Futuro’ Program, for the management of High Schools. The paper presents that it is a proposal of school management for results, based on the logic of the market, and, using documentary research, aims to problematize the guidelines of the program, which have an influence on the Brazilian educational policies for High School.
