The higher education institution must seek ways to help the teacher in the profession and implement educational programs with effective student engagement in learning. In this context, the aim of this study is to analyze the process of teacher training in the course of Master in Business Administration, with the use of active learning methodologies, and to describe the results of the practices used in the discipline of Teaching Seminar. This research is classified as qualitative, descriptive, developed from a case study. As a result, it stands out that Active Learning encourages student autonomy to build knowledge and develop technical and behavioral skills.
