Based on the conceptual examination of the practical philosophy of Immanuel Kant (1724-1804), we aim with this article, of a theoretical-philosophical character, to clarify, discuss and reflect on the formation of humanity through education. We intend to rescue, in particular, two concepts of reason and practical education in Kant. What is the contribution of Kant’s practical education to the reflection and scope of human formation today? In view of this issue, we cover, in this article, the understanding of the project of reason and practical education, with the suggestion that the formation of the humanity of the human being can be ensured in the complex educational action. We offer the theoretical study to understand, guide and, maybe, promote reality, particularly the educational realities of training and human transformation, what also manifests the opportunity for thought to understand and transform the real.
