PAVANELI, Camila Fernanda Dias; LUGLI, Ieda Alves  and  MARTINS, Raul Aragão. Human rights, human rights education and moral education: interrelationships. Educ. Teoria Prática [online]. 2023, vol.33, n.66, e18.  Epub Dec 31, 2023. ISSN 1981-8106.  https://doi.org/10.18675/1981-8106.v33.n.66.s16755.

The human rights represents a historic achievement as for the first time it provides a policy for expressing our common concerns and a universally accessible morality. Thus, it establishes moral traits among beings from all over the world and helps to create an awareness of shared humanity. Therefore, the present essay aimed to verify the relationship between Human Rights, Human Rights education and moral education, taking into account practices that promote the highest moral development of morality, based on universal justice, respect for dignity and on equal human rights. To that end, searches were carried out in the SciELO, PePSIC and Portal Capes portals. Although moral education and human rights education share ideas and methods, the areas have differences in which they can strengthen socio-moral education and, consequently, promote autonomous moral development.
