SOUZA, Vânia de Fátima Matias de et al. Curricularization of extension in undergraduate courses: an analysis of brazilian scientific production. Educ. Teoria Prática [online]. 2023, vol.33, n.66, e38. ISSN 1981-8106. https://doi.org/10.18675/1981-8106.v33.n.66.s17106.
This research sought to analyze the scientific production on the curricularization of extension in undergraduate courses in Brazil after the promulgation of Resolution CNE/CES 07/2018. To meet the objective, an integrative review was carried out, with a time frame of 2018-2022, in the databases: Portal Periódicos Capes and Portal Scielo, in which it was used as descriptors and Boolean operators (“Extension” OR “University Extension” OR “Extension Curriculum”) AND (“Initial Training” OR “Teacher Training” OR “Training Process” OR “Teacher Training” OR “Higher Education”) AND “Degree”, and in the Google Academic database, the descriptors “Curricularization of Extension” and “Undergraduate”. After the selection and application of the exclusion and inclusion criteria, four articles that constitute the corpus of this research were identified. The following categories emerged from the analyses: a) mapping of scientific production on the curricularization of extension in undergraduate courses; b) methodological procedures adopted in research on the curricularization of extension in undergraduate courses; and, c) themes addressed in scientific productions on the process of curricularization of extension in undergraduate courses. From the categories analyzed, studies were observed in order to contribute to the structuring of a curriculum that promotes a significant initial training, as well as share the practical experiences of the process of curricularization of extension, promoting the importance of this process while promoting a closer relationship between university and external community.
