This article presents the results of a survey carried out between 2019 and 2021 that resulted in the master's dissertation presented in Postgraduate Program in Education at the State University of Santa Catarina (PPGE/Udesc). An analysis was carried out on teaching conceptions about active methodologies and their relationships with digital information and communication technologies (DICTs) in the teaching of Geography, in the context of the implementation of non-face-to-face school activities in the period of social isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. For this, this research used the qualitative approach of the descriptive and exploratory types and the discursive textual analysis as a method of analysis. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire sent to Geography teachers in Basic Education. The highlighted conceptions revealed the need to adapt to new pedagogical practices combined with the use of TDIC. Thus, we observe that these practices tend to be used to meet the pedagogical fads and become only reassembly of existing methodologies.
