Abstract

RAMOS, Flávia Brocchetto; MUNHOZ, Estella Maria Bortoncello; MARANGONI, Marli Cristina Tasca  and  NEITZEL, Adair de Aguiar. Teaching through reading experience: the poem "O último andar" under a sky of senses. Educ. Teoria Prática [online]. 2024, vol.34, n.67, e22.  Epub Sep 05, 2024. ISSN 1981-8106.  https://doi.org/10.18675/1981-8106.v34.n.67.s17674.

This qualitative study aims to analyze the poem “O último andar”, written by Cecília Meireles, in order to broaden the discussions about the aesthetic and artistic function of literature and its treatment in the classroom. For the analysis, structural, semantic and visual elements of the poem converge as potentializers of meaning. Barthes (1974, 1987, 2004), Bachelard (1978), Heidegger (2015), Marangoni and Ramos (2020), and Ramos and Marangoni (2013) form the basis for reflection on the nature of the literary text and the relationship between the poem and the reader. Reading is thought of as a possibility of undergoing an experience. The analysis of the illustrated poem is constructed from an aesthetic and artistic point of view, exploring the symbolic potential of the literary writing, announcing it as a writable text. It is problematized that the sensitive mediation of the text can expand the possibilities of the reader’s perception of the text.
