This article aims to analyze professional ethics in teaching within the scope of Higher Education in Professional and Technological Education (EPT). A bibliographic review was carried out with articles published in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) databases between 2010 and 2021. The descriptors used for the search in the SciELO database were: ethics, professional education, and higher education. For the research in CAPES, the subject researched was ethics in professional and technological education. In this way, eight works were found, but only two of them, by the authors Nunes and Sousa (2018) and Finkler et al. (2011), were selected. The theoretical contribution of this research includes authors such as Ciavatta (2009), Saviani (2007), Frigotto (2005), and those who deal with ethics, such as Johann (2009), Arroyo (2007), Vásquez (2005), Pegoraro (2002 ), Severino (2002), among others. Systematic searches in the databases revealed a lack of research on ethics in teaching Higher Education in EPT, indicating a lack of attention to this issue in Professional and Technological Education. Therefore, it is suggested that more scientific research on this topic be carried out, as human relationships lack harmonious and egalitarian coexistence based on ethical values.
