Abstract

ZEFERINO, Wagner Rodrigues; FROSSARD, Matheus Lima  and  SANTOS, Wagner dos. Assessment prescriptions in Physical Education textbooks. Educ. Teoria Prática [online]. 2025, vol.35, n.69, e32. ISSN 1981-8106.  https://doi.org/10.18675/1981-8106.v35.n.69.s18082.

The article aims to identify and analyze the teaching and learning assessment prescriptions in Physical Education textbooks considering what is assessed, how it is assessed, and which knowledge is privileged. The research is characterized as a qualitative of the type critical-documentary analysis and uses assourcethe textbooks for Physical Education approved in the Plano Nacional do Livro Didático of 2019 and 2020. By proposing assessments of bodily experiences, the books value a creative and investigative dimension of the student, allowing understanding the production of meaning. However, many of the assessment prescriptions are a product and do not contribute with guidance to the decision-making process. This characteristic, signals a mismatch between the assumed evaluation conceptions and the proposal prescriptions.
