Abstract

The research aims to carry out a study about the insertion of Information and Communication Technologies in the pedagogical practices of elementary and secondary education; Analyze the importance and the initial and continued formation of the Mathematics teacher; And identify the difficulties encountered by them in the use of these technologies. This theme gains relevance, given the importance of this insertion with the purpose of improvements in education, per the official documents. The methodology used was the triangulation of bibliographical research, through which data were searched in books, laws, periodicals and theses. In the end, it was verified that it is necessary that the teachers are prepared from the initial formation to interact with the technologies in the work environment.
