Abstract

TRASPADINI, Roberta  and  SILVA, Leo Alves da. UNILA AND INTEGRATION: LATIN MIRAGE, NEOLIBERAL HORIZON OR CONTINUOUS DISPUTES?. Revista Teias [online]. 2019, vol.20, n.56, pp.85-112.  Epub Dec 19, 2019. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2019.39723.

The main objective of this article is to present UNILA from a historical-critical, Marxian perspective, in the light of the planned and realized history of its mission as a Latin American university for integration, in light of the nine years that formalize its existence, 2010 -2019.We will use as a didactic resource the understanding of three key moments in the history of Brazil's diplomatic / international relations with the southern cone and the other countries of the continent, which merge with UNILA's own history: 2007-2010; 2010-2016; 2016 below. The driving questions for this article will be: How is UNILA born and developed? What are the foreign and national policy contexts in which UNILA is inserted?

Keywords : UNILA; Regional integration; Dependency.
