This paper seeks to reflect on the power of the university as a space of construction, based on a problematization about the neoliberal crossings in the undergraduatin schooland the analysis of the data obtained in two researches carried out individually by both authors, of itself, thinking it as a context of subjectivation and political action. The prominence that higher education has in this neoliberal scenario is punctuated by crises, conflicts and contradictions, thus, the University ends up not realizing its role in the formation of citizens. At the same time, the data analyzed here show that in the day-to-day life of the students and in the different instances of institutions in which they are enrolled, the potential for expanding university experience is consolidated, increased and subverted.
