The article emerges from a Case Study developed in the city of Bagé (RS), in the year 2016, on the theme "Youth identities and the new social and cultural configurations of Hip Hop in the context of globalization of Marketplace". The analysis of the discursive and non-discursive practices of young people members of The Manifest Group who participated in the survey indicated that discontinuities in the understanding of the new technologies as a factor of social and cultural visibility and regularities regarding the need to maintain certain traditions of Hip Hop culture, evidencing hybrid effects. The dance is constitutes a practice of resistance to prejudice in the region frontier of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is in this game of forces that Hip Hop becomes an art of existence.
