Abstract

NOGARA JUNIOR, Gilberto. ARTICULATIONS BETWEEN THE WORLD BANK AND HIGH SCHOOL REFORM (LAW Nº. 13.415 OF 2017). Revista Teias [online]. 2019, vol.20, n.56, pp.346-361.  Epub Dec 19, 2019. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2019.35220.

This article is the result of an analysis of the document Learning for all: investing in people’s knowledge and skills to promote development, World Bank Group Education Strategy 2020 (World Bank, 2011)and Law 13.415/2017 (BRAZIL, 2017). We argue that high school reform is a state policy in line with the prescriptions of multilateral organizations and aligning the transformations in the world of work in the current stage of capitalism. Thus, our effort is to demonstrate in this article these two movements: the articulations between the World Bank and the Brazilian State in the reform of secondary education and the relation labor and education that underlies this process.

Keywords : World Bank; Law nº 13.415 of 2017; Secondary education.
