This work is a first point of our thesis project that we will still submit to a selective process of a Strict Sensu graduate program. At present, our initial research goal is to address issues related t o CAPOEIRA in School Physical Education in relation to know ing/doing with their approximations and/or distances. The research methodology applied initially was based on literature review and application of questionnaires that subsidized our research with information inherent to the actions of the interviewees. We observe that even though laws such as 10.639/03 and 11.645/08, some physical education professionals still lack safety, experience and interest in applying Capoeira in physical education classes.
