Reflections in the light of interculturality suggest the appropriation of comics in ed ucation. The intentionality is to demonstrate the aesthetic-narrative potential of the genre in the focus of religions of African matrix that are silenced in the school space. The collection Tales of the Orixas becomes key of reading and problematization of the sacred symbols of these religious cultures.
