Abstract

AMAR, Víctor. EPISTOLARY SELF-NARRATIVE: a sensitive look from a foreigner about Brazil. Revista Teias [online]. 2020, vol.21, n.60, pp.193-202.  Epub May 21, 2020. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2020.48633.

The trajectory of the letters in history is undeniable. They have existed in all areas of life and have formed part of the personal and collective acquis. The epistolary self-narrative is an exercise in expression where the author shows part of his identity. With a qualitative methodology the discussion and results are seen by providing a network of conclusions that come to nurture the value of communication; of the communicative fact. With this group of five letters they make known a part of the author's feeling and where subjectivity takes on its prominence. We are before ego-documents open to reading and interpretation.

Keywords : self-narrative; education; Brazil; qualitative research.
