Abstract

This paper presents a study that sought to investigate the contributions of digital artifacts in the concepts learning with a group of Pedagogy first-year students of a public institution in the countryside of Paraná. For this purpose, this study is considered as descriptive kind, being conducted in the light of the distributed cognition theory. The data were collected through participant observation, documental analysis and questionnaires and were examined based on content analysis. The results reveal the interaction, the differentiated learning and the collaboration as contributions to learning in the cyberculture context, as well as reveal that the opportunity to live new educational experiences with digital artifacts in learning and in concepts formation occurs when they act as mediating instruments.
