This research has an objective to reflect about the implementation of the Law n. 11.645/2008, on the education institutes of Campo Grande - Mato Grosso do Sul, by the experience on the formation of early education teachers, in specifically about the subjects turned to the teaching of indigenous history and culture. For this, we used our reflections did on teachers’ formations, on what the anguishes, certainties and uncertainties, conceptions and preconceptions, knowledges and the unknowledges, reported by the professors, granted us losing the occidentals narratives and look for other ways to teach and to learn. In terms of thematic, it is observed the lack of knowledge about these people, their history and their social, cultural and linguistical differences in generalizing all people into an only one. The curricular and historical narratives, which for centuries, occulted the indigenous people of Brazilian history, valuing only the Eurocentric knowledge, related since the colonization, still remains on the social and cultural imaginary of the Brazilian population. In this sense, the challenge it’s in relocate to another contexts, which are present on the scholarship routine, and do the dialogue on the meeting with different people, without nulling their differences and their history, evidencing that other knowledges and doings are possible.
