Abstract

RAMALLO, Francisco  and  PORTA, Luis. AFFECTIVE (IN)VISIBILITIES: artistic methodologies in narrative inquiry. Revista Teias [online]. 2020, vol.21, n.62, pp.439-454.  Epub Feb 09, 2022. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.%y.47264.

Narrative inquiry - especially in education — proposes a way of knowing and being, in which the classical division between science and art loses stability. In this article, the production of visual metaphors is recovered in partial abandonment of graphocentrism, as a way of increasing the affective (in)visibilities unfolded in artistic methodologies. For this purpose, we firstly restore the epistemological intimacy between science and art which coexisted in narrative inquiry. Secondly, the transition from methodologic triangulation to crystallization is described. Finally, a series of movements were noticed. In a study about affects in pedagogy, such movements demand affecting methodologies of its erotic power over its rigor.

Keywords : art; affection; narrative inquiry.
