Abstract

The poetics of archiving seeks to present other possibilities, meanings, and educational practices related to the concept of archive; thus, the writing of this article approaches how archiving establishes a poetics with contemporary artistic practice. How can one think about the concept of archive in contemporary art and expand educational and curricular possibilities? We present the teacher as a collector of inanity who invents a particular way of creating one archive. We started from the idea of some post-structuralist thinkers, from literature to philosophy, to think about other practices through the concept of archive. We understand that archiving reinvents new didactic spaces based on the relationships between images, serving as a connecting membrane, creating cross-border areas of curricular experimentation through images, nature, and art.
