ALMEIDA, Jéssica de. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: musical-educational biography as research and training procedure. Revista Teias [online]. 2021, vol.22, n.64, pp.102-115.  Epub July 30, 2021. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.%y.48697.

This article has the objective to explain an (auto)biographical research procedure developed for a doctoral research, highlighting its potential uses for teacher training. Theoretically referenced in (auto)biography research (ABRAHÃO, 2004; BRAGANÇA, 2011; BOLÍVAR, DOMINGUES, FERNANDEZ, 2001; CUNHA, 2012; NÓVOA, FINGER, 2010; PASSEGGI, 2011a and others), experience and training studies (DELORY-MOMBERGER, 2014; DOMINICÉ, 2010a; JOSSO, 2010a; JOSSO, 2010b; PASSEGGI, 2011b; SUÁREZ, 2012 and others), the different moments that integrate the procedure called musical-educational biography are outlined highlighting their particularities and contributions for the teacher training. Inspired by the educational biography, a research and training procedure developed by Pierre Dominicé and Marie-Christine Josso, the theoretical em methodological discussion on musicaleducational biography aims to foster the debate about the relevance of (auto)biographical approaches about formative processes, whether in the academic field or in other contexts and to broaden perspectives on initial, continuing and permanent teacher training.

Keywords : (auto)biographical research; narrative; music.
