This work aims to analyze the performance of pedagogues in the various social spaces of human formation, in the light of an expanded concept of education. A reflection is made on the role of the school and a questioning about the limits between the fields of formation. The study starts from a reflection on the formation of educators in the Pedagogy course and what is proposed as performance in the various social spaces. At first, the fundamental role of education as a human formation is recognized. Soon after, it is intended to expand the possibilities for educators to act in these spaces. The main conclusions of the study point to the relevance of conceiving an education of educators based on both teaching and work in other training spaces, without losing the characteristics of teaching in training, but including planning, coordination, management and research, inside and outside school institutions.
