This article recovers Decires by Paulo Freire about the teachers training processes in the field of youth and adult education. The social historical circumstances determined by the pandemic implied several reinventions of the educational experience in the online virtuality, as a space and a time where to place the various distance practices. Along these lines a new reading of Pedagogía de la autonomía. Saberes necesarios para la práctica educativa with the aim of putting strain on the results of researches and extension works on the actual situation is carried. Assuming teachers as inventors and researchers and not only mere transmitters of knowledge implies the building of an ethic that requires political individuals engaged with their activities and their historical time. Firstly, there is a conceptual approach of the main points of the above mentioned book. Secondly, some discussions on the training processes developed through years of work with teachers in this field are shared. Finally, stress and strain observed in the teaching processes due to the pandemic are dealt.
