Based on the historical-cultural theory, from the dialogue and the literature-society interrelation, the objective is to consider, here, about the literature teacher in their initial formation at the letters degree -Portuguese Language and Literature at the Federal University of Amazonas, observing the curriculum as a space (or not) for praxis and construction of knowledge that considers literature, as well as the work with the literary text, place of poiesis, of human formation, of self-understanding, the other and the socio-historical-cultural context. For this, in discursive analysis, the Course Pedagogical Project and the work of the study group Gender relations, power and violence in Portuguese-language literatures.
