Abstract

UNGER, Lynna Gabriella Silva  and  CARDOSO, Lívia de Rezende. FROM THE SIDE WINDOW... ethnographic constructions in a school curriculum. Revista Teias [online]. 2021, vol.22, n.especial, pp.270-285.  Epub Feb 18, 2023. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2021.47141.

In this article, we present the experience of a post-critical ethnography, at the intersection with the curriculum and the school's ground. In addition to a simple theoretical-methodological adaptation to research, we take this ethnography as “a research-experimentation”. It is a space of many ambivalences, where we recognize that contexts are not watertight instances that can be apprehended as a whole. A drift movement that allows us to think of new stylistics in doing research based on the decentering of the curriculum, moving it away from the central and privileged place, to understand how, at different times, people are transformed and placed in certain subject positions. This shift helps us make smaller curricula visible, as they make a lot of sense when indexed to everyday classroom observations and outside the classroom, through the window.

Keywords : curriculum; post-critical methodologies; culture.
