Abstract

SCHLEE, Juliana Corrêa Pereira; HENNING, Paula Corrêa  and  RIBEIRO, Paula Regina Costa. NARRATED LIVES: women and nature in the gaucho pampa. Revista Teias [online]. 2022, vol.23, n.69, pp.354-367.  Epub Feb 28, 2023. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2022.64482.

This article is the result of a study conducted within a research group with the main purpose of problematizing how women environmentalists of the gaucho pampa narrate their relationship with nature and environmental education. It is an investigation that uses as a guide the philosophies of difference, making reflections, and how we relate to nature. As a methodological path we carried out a narrative investigation through a conversation with three women environmentalists from the pampa of Rio Grande do Sul. At the end of this investigation, we consider that women narrate their relationships with nature, in which care and love for the place become fundamental to the feeling of belonging, a feeling that we call a Pampean feeling.

Keywords : environmental education; women; Pampa; nature; narratives..
