This essay writing essay (LARROSA, 2003) addresses the field of student representation (SR) in graduate studies in Brazil. Therefore, it directs its attention to the area of SR in the Brazilian context, through the mobilization of a qualitative bibliographic review (ANDRÉ, 2013), which is intertwined with powerful experience reports regarding the brands that result from this practice in the postgraduate studies. The observed data show the creation of multiple connections that are constituted as SR is experienced in the universe of postgraduate studies, such as the expansion of the professional repertoire in acting in representations, bodies and collegiate commissions and the cultivation of a notion of health through powerful and lively encounters in courses and training environments, as well as the need for further investigations involving the theme.
