This paper is the result of an ongoing doctoral research in education, which aims to discuss the training of indigenous teachers in the movement of school inclusion in the Amazonian context. As we know, the process of school inclusion for people with disabilities in Brazil is not easy, especially in the context of indigenous school education in terms of the training of indigenous teachers. However, we sought to verify if there is discussion about the school inclusion of people with disabilities in the Curricular Matrices of the Pedagogical Projects of Indigenous Teacher Training Courses of Public Higher Education Institutions in the state of Amazonas. The methods of data collection are bibliographic and documentary research, and the analysis had a qualitative approach (SEVERINO, 2016). As a result, it was observed that it is necessary to think about an intercultural special education policy that can meet the wishes and needs of each school reality, and for this construction to be possible, it is necessary to listen to the teachers, managers, the indigenous community and the family.
