Abstract

BAGIO, Viviane Aparecida. TEACHER-STUDENT RELATIONSHIP: discussion from the work Anne de Avonlea. Revista Teias [online]. 2022, vol.23, n.71, pp.284-296.  Epub Feb 28, 2023. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2022.64896.

The school context is permeated by human relationships, especially between teacher and student throughout the teaching-learning process. It establishes the basis for the relationship between the students themselves and with knowledge, as well as contributing to the social formation of individuals. Taking Anne de Avonlea as a reference, we set out to discuss the relationship between teacher and student in a historical-temporal perspective. The study, of a theoretical-analytical nature, establishes a relationship with the various concepts related to the relationship between teacher and student, as well as to teaching, in addition to its concepts: authority and authoritarianism; discipline, indiscipline and self-discipline; dialogue; perception, expectations and strategies and classroom management. We conclude that, as exposed in the work, several situations can occur and facilitate/difficult the relationship between teacher and student, as well as instigate the development of possibilities to overcome possible mishaps. Anne teaches us that there is space between the instituted and the institution, as long as the instituting finds the strategies that allow it to work.
