The theme of the work is the teaching profession, seeking to identify the elements and characteristics that constitute the teaching career in early childhood education. It discusses the specificities of teaching at this stage of teaching, supported by cultural history. The research has a bibliographic, documentary and field character, with a qualitative approach, and is based on the vision of hermeneutic phenomenology, which not only describes and analyzes the voices, speeches, and language of the subject, but also interprets what this medium communicates towards the transformation of professional practice.. Data were collected at an institution that integrates an educational network based in several municipalities in the State of Paraná. The results obtained show that the constitution of the professional career of the researched group of teachers is linked to the identification with the pedagogical proposal of the institution and the teaching network in which they work, as well as the trust they place in them.
