In this research, we aimed at characterizing and verifying how education is offered to the researcher by the Line 1- Educational Policies, Education History and Organization of the Education Graduation Program of the Midwest State University (Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste - PPGE/UNICENTRO), approaching the subjects and the supervising process in the analysis. Methodological investigation path is guided by bibliographic research assumptions, based on authors of educational policies research field Mainardes (2017; 2018b), Tello (2012); Sánchez Gamboa (2006), Pires (2019), Machado (2000), among others. Further the bibliographic research, a documental investigation was carried out, analyzing documents of PPGE/UNICENTRO (Doctorate in Education approved project, compulsory subject menus of Line 1, Program regulations -Resolução nº 7-CEPE/UNICENTRO, March 24, 2016). Research field was performed through semi structured interviews with professors and questionaries to egresses of Line 1 of PPGE/UNICENTRO of years from 2014 to 2018. In view of this, it is pointed that since the first selection in 2012, with dissertations defended in 2014, 169 dissertations have already been oriented and completed in the program, 81 of them belong to the Line 1. Information pointed detach significant search for the PPGE/UNICENTRO, making evident the high learning and improvement level offered for teaching education. The text shows the subjects addressed to theoretical and methodological are relevant, especially emphasizing epistemology. This study concludes that researches are in production and being approved, but the supervising and the relation between the researcher in training and the supervisor are not clear, as well as the education process for these researchers, because few works analyze this process.
