Resumen

GUERRA, Denise Moura de Jesus  y  MACEDO, Roberto Sidnei. CHRYSALIS AND THE TIME OF SAD PASSIONS: trans-formation and teaching (existence) at PRP/UFBA. Revista Teias [online]. 2023, vol.24, n.72, pp.113-124.  Epub 03-Ago-2023. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2023.70242.

Having the current educational curriculum and teacher development as a background, which is strongly characterized by excluding anachronism and instrumentality, this article aims to describe this context and its consequences for teacher education. The report also highlights progressive educational practices and argues in favor of authorizing and generative actions. It emphasizes teacher resistance (re-existence), through which collective teacher protagonism emerges to transgress and resignify such policies. The article describes and clarifies how the UFBA/PRP (Pedagogical Residency Program) implies groups and educational institutions through which teachers develop their practices and (re)create other ways to experience their institutional projects through their own learning experiences. In its argumentative approach, this document also demonstrates how teachers criticize, resignify, and transform curriculum and education policies through such actions. As such, they are able to experiment with debating about their theoretical and methodological implications. Thus, they are able to work on their education while also affirming that student-teachers’ lives matter.

Palabras clave : curriculum policies; pedagogical residency program; teacher education.
