This article discusses the schooling experience of students with multiple disabilities and Congenital Zika Virus Syndrome (CZVS) in Baixada Fluminense/Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Initially, a survey of statistical data from the school census from 2018 to 2022 was carried out. Then, we interviewed six education professionals from a public school of early childhood education of a municipal education network in the Baixada Fluminense/RJ. Finally, 2 five-year-old children diagnosed with CZVS were also observed. The data point to an annual increase in enrollment of students with multiple disabilities in regular schools in this region. It also shows that these numbers could be more expressive, considering that there are children with CZVS who live in this region and who are not yet in school, despite their age. With regard to the educational inclusion of these children, the article focuses on their arrival to school, their relationship with peers and their participation in school activities. Finally, it presents arguments about the relevance of intersectoral actions between education, health and social assistance to promote comprehensive care for these children, focusing on schooling, improvement of their health and well-being.
