MONTEIRO, Alcioni da Silva  e  MASCARENHAS, Suely Aparecida do Nascimento. PATHS AND CHALLENGES IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PEDAGOGICAL AND CURRICULUM PROPOSAL FOR INDIGENOUS SCHOOL EDUCATION IN FACING THE IDEOLOGICAL INTENTIONALITIES. Revista Teias [online]. 2023, vol.24, n.74, pp.70-83.  Epub 06-Dez-2023. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2023.75497.

According to the education legislation, the Pedagogical and Curricular Proposal (PPC) should provide guidance on knowledge, curriculum and the role of teachers in the educational and social development of students. The Municipal Secretariat of Education and Culture (SEMEC) of Labrea is creating two independent PPCs to serve Kindergarten and Elementary School, considering the legal guidelines and the guidance of federal and state documents. This task is challenging due to political barriers and the history of neglect of the rights of native peoples. The PPCs of SEMEC seek to subsidize the necessary adaptations to meet the guidelines of the Federal Government for the specific, differentiated and bilingual education of the native peoples. Thus, problematic presented arises in this study, in the face of conflicts and divergences in the construction and implementation of the PPCs with the specificities of the reality and culture of the native peoples of Lábrea. To this end, it was considered the analyses related to the drafts of the two Pedagogical and Curricular Proposals (PPCs) - for early childhood education and elementary school - which are still in the process of elaboration, as well as the organization of the elaboration team of the same. The objective is to answer the following question: how does SEMEC subsidize pedagogical and curricular issues for the consolidation of the PPCs in order to reflect the local reality of Labrea's schools, considering the cultural and linguistic diversity of the four native peoples and in compliance with the policies that protect native schools? In conclusion, there is a shortage of qualified professionals in specific matters related to indigenous peoples, as well as the mischaracterization of eurocentric ideologies.
