Resumen

QUEIROZ, Caroline Trapp de. CONSIDERING CHILDHOOD: history, intersectionality and philia. Revista Teias [online]. 2023, vol.24, n.75, pp.291-305.  Epub 26-Dic-2023. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2023.64623.

This article aims to discuss the childhood experience from the perspective of intersectionality, drawing attention to the political dimension of the presence of the child in different socio-historical processes of our country. For this, some clippings are mobilized that help make visible and powerful their participation, such as the colonial period, the beginning of the Brazilian Republic, the civil-military dictatorship and the current context of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The article uses analyses based on historical and journalistic references, seeking to weave relationships between different facts and sources through the benjaminian methodological strategy of the constellation, in order to propose other targeted about the child as a political subject. As a result, it points out the need to take the position of really seeing the child in his condition of subject, considering his existence and his action in the world responsibly, and the urgency to build relationships of proximity and support with him through philia, defended as a dimension capable of enhancing the production of new ways of fighting for our utopian horizons.
