This article is part of a doctoral research in Education that sought to know how Northeastern indigenous people receive the educational process offered in graduations, since the university was not idealized for minorities. In order to do so, the daily practices used by a group of indigenous people from the courses of Biological Sciences, Animal Science, Degree in Rural Education, Fisheries Engineering, Pedagogy, Physical Education, Agronomic Engineering and Degree in History were investigated. The applied methodology was quantitative and qualitative in nature, based on a case study through interviews, observations and questionnaires. Data interpretation has a Bardin thematic analysis perspective. Thus, the objective of this work is to present the results obtained, through interviews and questionnaires. With theoretical support in Michel de Certeau and Paulo Freire, we came to the conclusion, after analyzing the results, that everyday practices and critical awareness of the historical process they experience help them to integrate into the university.
