Abstract

PEREIRA, Arliene Stephanie Menezes; COSTA, Maria Aparecida Alves da  and  NASCIMENTO, Karla Angélica Silva do. THE LITTLE CURUMINS: the state of knowledge of scientific production on indigenous children. Revista Teias [online]. 2024, vol.25, n.76, pp.42-55.  Epub Mar 07, 2024. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2024.78870.

This systematic review aimed to present the state of knowledge of studies on indigenous children. For this, searches were carried out in the following databases: Capes Theses and Dissertations Catalogue, Capes Journals Portal and SciELO, with refinement in the years 2018 to 2022 and other inclusion and exclusion criteria were also applied. The result after analysis resulted in 15 works, which were divided into three categories, namely: indigenous culture, teachings and playfulness; indigenous school education; and indigenous teacher training. It was concluded that the data obtained give clues about which research in the area is being carried out on indigenous children, in addition to being able to reference future research on the theme and actions of political, social and educational development in this context.

Keywords : indigenous childhood; indigenous child; state of knowledge.
