Daily, we seek to give 'meaning-significations' about the world we are immersed in. Thus, understanding the inseparability between research activities and the formative process, the objective of this article is to present a reflective account (Lourau, 1975) of Roberto Macedo's work, titled "Research as Heuristics, Curriculum Act, and University Education: Transingular Experiences with the Method in Educational Sciences," published in 2020, relating his ideas/thoughts to those of various interlocutors who support the studies/research we conduct with our postgraduate students in the research group we belong to. Based on our curricular journeys and experiences as teacher-educators, we endorse the author's thinking, reaffirming our understanding of research as a collective, multireferential, dialogical, and interactive process.
