SILVA, Alexandra Lima da e CUSTODIO, Maria Aparecida Corrêa. THE PEOPLE IN THE HISTORY OF EDUCATION: from riversides to urban peripheries. Revista Teias [online]. 2024, vol.25, n.78, pp.2-10. Epub 11-Out-2024. ISSN 1982-0305. https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2024.86379.
Who are the people of the history of education? Subjects? Women of yesterday? On the margins? Peripheral? When riversides meet the asphalt of cities? Whose street is paved? Do they cross bridges? Do they cross borders? Do they navigate crossroads? Silenced voices? Invisible or invisibilized? Who can speak? Who listens? Who fears the violated body of the Black woman? Who listens to the violated child? Who exhumes the bones of the dead? Do Black lives matter? Is there love in the meeting of dissenting voices? Solitary? Solidary? Who rises? Who gathers in a quilombo? Critical consciousness for whom? Who teaches to transgress? Who evades? Who stays? Who breaks barriers? Who drowns in the flood? Who resists? Who moves? Where do they go? Who finds the way back home? Who returns to the riverbank? To the bottom of the well? To the depths of the sea? To the shallow grave? To the exposed ditch? Future for whom? The future is a spectrum of colors. Mourning is a verb. For the people who live on the margins, peripheral, (in)visible, plural, potent.
