Abstract

ARAUJO, Francisco Cleuton de; MACIEL, Carlos Renêe Martins  and  SANTOS, Maria José Costa dos. UNVEILING THE CURRICULUM TAPESTRY: an escrevivência of the subject Teaching, Curriculum and Pedagogical Practices. Revista Teias [online]. 2025, vol.26, n.80, e81064.  Epub May 08, 2025. In the context of continuing teacher training, dialectics interaction is a fundamental factor for the construction and socialization of knowledge arising from the subjects' epistemological, social and cultural knowledge. In this sense, students and teachers of the Teaching, Curriculum and Pedagogical Practices discipline of a doctoral course in Science and Mathematics Teaching, experienced a construct of ideas about the theme of the curriculum in basic and higher education and based on this, they write in this work, the collective and collaborative experience lived between the subjects through the process of writing us, now called “escrevivência”. The objective of this work is to write down the experiences and dialogues woven into the aforementioned discipline, giving voice to students (teachers) based on narratives of their classroom experiences about education and curriculum. Methodologically, the narratives of the participants in this “(escre)vivência”, photographic records and field diary, were used as a data collection technique, classifying the work as having a qualitative approach, basic and descriptive in nature regarding the objectives and action research regarding technical procedures. From this perspective, there is evidence that a critical, reflective, non-alienating and decolonial awareness about the curriculum emerges from solid discussions based on consistent theoretical references and the personal experience of each subject immersed in the classroom context.
