Abstract

The aim of this article is to understand the way how the teaching of philosophy has been thought in Brazil at the present time, the manner in which the refection about this teaching has been constituted in the academic researches about the subject as well as the matters that have been debated by the researchers of this area. In order to do that, we will present a frame about some trends in the debate that has been done in Brazil, aiming to indicate some of the main paradigms which guided the different approaches on the teaching of philosophy. We agree that this frame may not represent the whole discussion, but, in a way, it can be an index for us to understand what has been done in this debate.
