In the controversy of the relationship between platonic dialogues and the non writen doctrines, Philebus have a privilegiate place. The paper inteds to show that the refusal of giving a definition of Good and some aspects of the doctrine of the four genus are traces that can be referred to the oral teaching of Plato.
